The ETA Club at the University of St. Gallen is pleased to host an exclusive case study evening in cooperation with ENEX DACH, dedicated to the world of search funds and entrepreneurship through acquisition

Lars Sager (ENEX DACH) and Dario Germann (Netrag Holding AG) will walk through the Netrag acquisition from both sides of the table, sharing the key challenges and turning points they faced along the way, from the investor's due diligence and deal structuring to the entrepreneur's experience of handing over and running the business post-acquisition.

About Lars

Lars Sager holds a degree in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen, with exchange semesters at Stellenbosch University and in São Paulo. He began his career in consulting and M&A in Hamburg and Zurich, and also worked as a Corporate Development Manager for an industrial company. In 2020, together with his brother David, he founded contactify, a B2B SaaS startup for digital contact management, which they successfully scaled and exited. Since 2023, he has been building ENEX together with Jérémie von Moos, a company that facilitates succession solutions for owner-managed SMEs.

About Dario

Dario Germann holds a Master's in Business Management from the University of St. Gallen, with exchange semesters at San Diego State University and the University of Technology Sydney. He began his career at PwC in Assurance, before moving to Variosystems, a family business later acquired by Capvis, where he was Head of Strategic Projects & ESG. Since August 2024, he has been operating CEO and co-owner of Netrag AG, an electrical installation company in Wittenbach founded in 1974.
