3. Data We Collect

We process the following categories of personal data:

Account data:

name, email address, degree program, transcript (if uploaded by the user), CV, courses, club memberships.

Usage data:

registrations for events, attendance and no-shows, profile views, logins, interactions within the platform. Certain usage data is processed server-side when users are logged in, independently of cookie-based tracking, for platform analytics and aggregated insights. This data is processed to optimize platform performance and to offer users a more tailored experience regarding academic and professional opportunities.

Acquisition data:

first page visited (landing page), external referrer (e.g., google.com, instagram.com), and marketing campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign). This data is captured on your first visit and stored with your account upon registration.

Technical data:

IP address, device/browser information, access logs.

Payment metadata:

payer identity, amount, time of transaction, refund status (we do not store or process card/bank details).

Club data:

membership records, uploaded content, and administrative actions.

Data Transfer to Clubs: When you apply for a club event or membership, your relevant application data is transferred to the respective club administrators. For documents (such as CVs or transcripts), clubs receive a snapshot of the file version at the time of submission; subsequent updates to your files on the platform do not automatically update previously submitted snapshots. Basic profile information (such as name, email, and profile picture) remains accessible to administrators of clubs you have joined or applied to in its most current form.

Clubs may have additional obligations to retain certain records. Usage logs and application metadata are stored in identifiable form for no longer than 24 months and are subsequently anonymized.
