Handballspielgemeinschaft St. Gallen

The Handball Club St. Gallen is all about teamwork, energy, and passion for the game. Our mission is to help players of all levels improve their individual technique, build tactical understanding, and grow together as a strong and connected team representing Unisport St. Gallen at national and international student tournaments. We offer two weekly training sessions - on Mondays in the Athletik Zentrum, where resin is allowed, and on Wednesdays in the HSG Sports Hall, where we focus on precision and agility without resin. Every session combines technical drills, tactical exercises, and match play, making it both challenging and fun. What makes us unique is our vibrant community: we’re as much about friendship and team spirit off the court as we are about performance on it. Beyond training, we host social events such as our KickOff at Bars, Bring-a-Friend sessions, OLMA meet-ups, friendly matches against ETH, and our legendary Fondue Evening and Christmas Market outing. No prior experience or registration is required - just bring clean indoor shoes, sportswear, and your enthusiasm for handball!
